Ways to Track Your Wins
David Goggins talks about a cookie jar. You write out instances in your life where things were tough but you made it through. Or big accomplishments. When you’re feeling down or about to give up, pull from the cookie jar. This can give you the motivation you need, based on past experiences.
I learned this name from a BASB Mentor. This is to track compliments or praise people give you. Whatever gives you a dopamine and makes you feel good about yourself or how you helped someone else. This can be in a folder, tag, or link in your note-taking app. I like to take screenshots of what people say, paste it in, then tag their name and date. Reviewing this is encouraging.
