Next time I make a tensegrity craft, here are some additional ideas I want to try.

I like this design. Looks sturdier too. Though there isn’t an angle where the top and bottom parts don’t overlap in view.
This uses only 3 strings, and gives a strong effect of a floating structure because of how far away the top part is from the the bottom. With invisible string, a sturdier build, and no ugly globs of glue, this would look amazing.
